Spring 2008
Spring is my favorite time of year. I've lived in a fairly large city, and I currently reside in a small town. But I'm a country girl at heart, and I've always loved spring because of the renewal and re-awakening of nature.
Spring has been a good season for me, so far. I had a blast at the Romantic Times Book Lovers' Convention. It was great meeting so many new people, and I was thrilled, as I always am, when someone wants to buy my books, or comes up to tell me how much they enjoy my work.
This season has also seen the release, in print, of The Rogue And The Rebel, a compilation of Beau And The Lady Beast and Lily In Bloom; and Magic And Love, which contains all three books in the series. Beau also appears in Once Upon A Time, an anthology of adult fairy tales from various Siren authors. As well, Rapture 1 is now available through Siren, Rapture, Amazon and Barnes & Nobel. This anthology, featuring The Song of the Sirens: The Enchantress, is available in print only.
Once again, as last year, I'll also be attending the Romance Writers' of America National Conference, being held in San Francisco this year. There will be workshops and seminars that I'm sure will not only be informative, but fun. And, of course, I get to see a little of that great city. My beloved is planning to tour Alcatraz and The Presidio; I just want to see Fisherman's Wharf and ride a trolley car.
Between now and then, I've a lot of work to do. Currently, I'm writing The Seductress, which is another instalment of The Song Of The Sirens, and actually pre-dates The Enchantress. And I'm delighted that my contemporary mainstream romance, A Little R & R , is going to be available through Siren's sister company, BookStrand. When I have a release date, I'll let you know.
I hope your spring is a season of renewal, and that your sunny days far outnumber your rainy ones!
Love,
